Dan Ruffcorn grew up traveling the country in a military family until his early teens. After high school, Dan completed the course at Midwest Horseshoeing School. He and his family now live in Milton, Indiana. Since settling in Illinois as a teen, Dan has owned and trained many bird dogs. Being just a hunter early on, Dan is now competing with his dogs in tournament hunting trials.
